The "good old days" of the 80's were fun times, and if you're a seasoned horror fan with some years under your belt, then you probably know what I'm talking about. When it comes to horror, the 80's will always be best remembered as the golden age of the american slasher film, spawning franchises such as Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street, along with many many others. But even outside of the slasher, the 80's produced many great horror films, some in which, have since gone on to become huge cult classics.

Monsters, zombies, aliens, vampires, slashers, the 80's had it all! 

There were the good, the bad, the bloody, the cheesy, the serious, and the comical ... the 80's had it all! From genuine horror, to sci-fi action horror, monster movies to funny movies, the 80's gave us many different types of horror movies (I love variety). 

So enough with the history lesson, and telling you things you probably already know ...  the purpose of this page is to post lists and links to sites related to 80's horror movies. If you're struggling to find a particular 80's movie, then hopefully this page (which will be a work in progress) will help you on your journey.
