TOO SCARY 2 WATCH now presents a list of contemporary PG-13 horror films (arranged alphabetically) that we believe may be worth checking out, if you love scary movies, but you don't like some of the vulgarity, sex, blood, guts and gore that usually go hand in hand with scary movies. The list will continue to be updated as we continue to find more 2000's PG-13 horror movies that we believe are worthy of adding. We've also decided to include a few of the R-Rated horror movies that we feel are relatively clean (some of the ones that barely missed the PG-13 rating).
Though our intentions were to create a list of the best PG-13 Horror Movies of the 2000's", we've decided to start with 1999, so as to include great PG-13 horror movies such as The Sixth Sense and the Storm of the Century.

It can be argued whether some of the movies on the list belong in the horror genre (depending on how one defines horror) ... nevertheless (with versatility in mind), we've included some that are definitely horror, some that are horror comedies, some that are sci-fi action horror, some that are psychological thrillers, along with others that may be open for interpretation.
